My daughter is learning photography, looking at the whirl in a new and focused way….pushing that ….Art….thing. And her friend who is her age and a college student (and a fine guitarist) has this RECORD collection..as in vinyl records..because “they sound good”..and Rachael thought..there’s a good picture..
I think it’s a great picture, because of the juxtaposition of vertically displaced lines contrasting with the I DON’T KNOW what I am talking about obviously..but what I do know..is that not all people of a certain age have the brains and talents of Labrador retrievers (sorry Labrador retrievers)…..and that there’s a groundswell of people 18-22 who know what end of the stick is up as far as Music, Art, and Politics..and just maybe their (our) precious future as well. All summed up in a little picture from a student apartment on 2/20/08.
